Learn and Play Preschool is now offering out of school care servicing Ecole Coquitlam River Elementary school.
The Learn and Play Preschool Before and After School Program provides high‑quality, licensed childcare for children attending Ecole Coquitlam River Elementary School. Our program supports working families by offering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment outside of regular school hours.
Our program is designed to complement the school day by promoting social development, emotional well‑being, and age‑appropriate learning through play‑based experiences. Children are supported by caring, qualified educators who prioritize safety, inclusion, and positive relationships.

Learn and Play Preschool is part of the Child Care Fee Reduction Incentive and thus our fees are lower based on funding from the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development. The fees below show the full tuition broken down monthly and the monthly fee after the CCFRI has been applied (pending government approval). All students will have the CCFRI reduction applied to their tuition and only the amount after CCFRI is required per month.

Program Structure
Before School Care:

Children arrive in the morning to a calm, welcoming environment. Activities include quiet play, games, and preparation for the school day, with supervision until students are safely transitioned to school.
After School Care:

Following dismissal, children are welcomed back to the program where they enjoy structured and unstructured activities such as arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play and forest walks, group games, and free play. Time is also provided for relaxation and social connection after a full school day.
